Approve the issuance of a purchase order to Associated Systems of Georgia (ASG) in the amount of $301,725 for the replacement of the Glynn County Detention Center fire alarm system and authorize the use of a single source procurement exemption, with funding to be provided by the FY25 approved capital budget in the Jail Complex Fund.

(FC 3-0)Approve the Memorandum of Agreement between the Glynn County Board of Commissioners, The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) and The Hospice of the Golden Isles to establish the terms and conditions under which Glynn County EMA and/or GEMA/HS may contract to provide certain transportation capabilities and assets on behalf of the Long Term Care Facility in the event the facility makes a Request for Assistance through Glynn County EMA and/or GEMA/HS to evacuate facility members threatened by an approaching tropical cyclone.

Approve a request from Golden Isles Tennis to use Epworth Park facilities at no cost to host a Breast Cancer Fundraiser Tennis Tournament on Saturday, October 19, 2024 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Consider adoption of ordinance amendments to revise Section 2-2-7 pertaining to advisory committees, repeal Section 2-4-4 regarding the Animal Control Advisory Board, and repeal Article VIII of Chapter 2-16 known as the Tree Ordinance in its entirety, to dissolve the Altamaha Regional Park Advisory Committee, the Animal Control Advisory Board, and the Tree Board, and for other purposes.
Consider an amendment to the code of ordinances, Glynn County, Georgia, to amend the liquor, malt beverage and wine ordinance of Glynn County to revise section 2-3-3 to permit a distillery to offer the sale of distilled spirits for consumption on the premises; to revise section 2-3-4 to permit distilled spirits to be sold at retail for consumption off the premises at a location licensed as a distillery; and for other purposes.
Consider adoption of an amendment to the Liquor, Malt Beverage and Wine Ordinance of Glynn County to revise Section 2-3-3(a) to increase the percentage of sales necessary to be considered a fast-food restaurant for purposes of alcohol licensing and to exclude sales that do not fit the traditional fast-food model, such as those involving curbside or inside pickup by third-party delivery services.
